Moasure 2 PRO

Moasure2 helped me measure a construction site. It was pretty accurate, although even with care it did not always return to the exact starting point and sometimes missed that I had stopped.

Moasure is not a GPS device, so it does not know where its "loops" are located. I tried to compensate for this by starting several separated loops from one spot. I had problems getting the loops to "match" in three dimensions.

I found it simple to import the loops (as .dmg) into Sketchup using my phone.

I was working to add new data to update a contour map after excavation. In the end I was not able to get it done as I had hoped.

I did use Sketchup's Sandbox tools to make the contour map into a triangulated surface, and then, with some difficulty, merged in my Moasure loops into the triangles. I never was able to convert the resulting surface back into contours.

It might have been easier if I had used Moasure to make numerous altitude measurements and then plugged them into my contour map, re-drawing the contour lines to reflect the new information.

It would be nice if Moasure had a process for drawing a contour map from points. Then I could have dropped that into my old map.

Great product and very accurate I use it to measure mostly homes still working out getting around obstacles

This tool has saved me time and has made my job easier. Specifically when measuring curves, it has made estimating work more accurate and has given me peace of mind.

I’ve been using the Moasure 2 Pro on real job sites and it has proven to be a very efficient tool for capturing layouts quickly. The ability to walk a space and generate a digital measurement in minutes is a major advantage and has noticeably improved the speed of my site assessments compared to traditional measuring methods. In practice, I have noticed some alignment inconsistencies, particularly when measuring areas that should be square or parallel to a building. In a few cases, sections of the layout appeared slightly rotated, sometimes by up to 10 degrees, which means I still verify results before relying on them fully. I may be causing the issue, yet I believe I have followed the basic tennants of the suggested process. Overall, the Moasure 2 Pro is a well-designed and promising product, and with improved consistency in alignment accuracy it has the potential to be an excellent long-term tool for professional use.

Very useful piece of equipment, it has cut my surgery/bidding time in half. As a new business owner I need to spend as much time in the field and as little time as I can in the office and this equipment helps with that substantially. I do a lot of smaller grading and excavation jobs, gravel driveways, demos all types. Having this Moasure pro really takes the guess work on quanties and defines it. I’m truly impressed with this and hope to invest in more as my company grows. Thank you

Since I discovered Moasure product, I was amazed how such a small and simple shaped device, can be a very helpful and complex tool.
I was sceptic at the beginning, but I bought it for testing it and...it really was amazing!!!
