Moasure 2 PRO

It's a marvel. I can handle three times as many estimates as before, and I've secured large contracts thanks to the presentation. It's very easy to use, and I've received excellent service from the support team. I highly recommend it.

Moasure has been a game changer for us in the home inspection space! We have used this for the following:

When the slab layout is not available, we will quickly use the moasure tool to get the outline of slab and then we use another tool like the smart level to finish the foundation elevation survey!

We have now used it several times to determine topography around a pool or slab to understand the drainage conditions. We then use the renderings to show a 3-D of the elevation/contours to the client. They love it. We had to use it once to convince the lawyers.

In an evaluation of a large apartment complex we used it to do the ouline of the slab which was very useful and got us out of a bind because the customer did not provide us with this layout. Moasure made it very easy and helped us save money as we did not have to hire someone else to draw the slab outline for us.

I wanted to find a measurement tool to help evaluate foundations. Moasure 2 creates beautiful images showing sloping floors and elevation changes. Once you get the hang of using the tool, you will be very pleased with the results.

I work in the landscaping industry on the hardscapes side, I have used this tool now for over a month, almost every day, the Moasure 2, and have great success with it. I think the best attribute is the saving of files during the measuring process that you can easily set in files on your phone while on the move, then refer back to them, print them out or forward them in numerous file types, this saves any note taking, remembering the square footage, measurement etc., just a great tool overall, and I'm fascinated with how it works. My main takeaway is the grade elevation and cut/fill options right on the App, just brilliant. Franklin NC.

On the last 3 pours only a few liters of concrete was left over, instead of fractions of a m3. So money saved, times saved on cleanout. It was also very useful to guide excavators on where and how much to excavate by using a combination of perimeter and points to determine location and depth / height

Our decision to implement Moasure for our fieldwork stemmed from significant challenges in accurately plotting and measuring distances, angles, and slopes for our projects.

A prime example is our current 1.8 km hike trail design in a canyon. Previously, we relied on Strava and Google Maps to identify trails and obtain lengths and elevations. While we could extract elevation data, integrating it into CAD or SketchUp proved impossible. KMZ files were useful for initial trail identification, but their accuracy was questionable, as dramatically illustrated when compared against Moasure's output. The stark difference between Moasure's precise black line and the 'off' white KMZ lines on our maps initially caused doubt.

However, after downloading the geo-located terrain of the site into SketchUp and overlaying the Moasure trail, its superior accuracy became evident. Moasure's ability to adjust measurement intervals allows for highly exact capture of bends (switchbacks) and elevation changes – a level of detail simply unattainable with KMZ. We believe Moasure's independence from GPS contributes to this precision, which is particularly vital in our tree-covered site.

Despite its advantages, we encountered a couple of issues. Early on, tracking data was lost after a few hundred meters, emphasizing the need to consistently save files during measurements. The more significant challenge lies in precisely geo-locating Moasure data within CAD, Google Earth, or SketchUp. While we've used it in SketchUp, it currently relies on estimating positions based on our field markings, rather than direct geo-referencing. The ability to embed even one or two precise geo-location points within the Moasure data would vastly streamline this integration into AutoCAD. A faster method for labeling points would also be beneficial, though we recognize this might involve developing a more efficient internal labeling system.

Despite these minor workflow hurdles, Moasure has proven to be an invaluable investment. It has dramatically reduced our manual measurement time and significantly enhanced the accuracy of our trail data. In design and construction, where precision is paramount, Moasure has already saved us countless hours and provided the essential accuracy needed for correct design and cost estimations.

I’ve been doing artificial turf in Southwest Florida since 2019 and I’ve never used a tape measure to get my quote ready. Moasure finds my square foot, perimeter and grade in the time that it takes me to walk around the project space. I have it integrated with Arcsite to create awesome drawings and land job super quick! Also I should point out they have a very good help department, to assist people like me who are not tech savvy, very responsive and professional. I own three Moasures… we all use them for measuring with Supreme Greens of SWFL…and I did upgrade to the latest Mosure 2 pro on my last purchase, no regrets on that for sure!
